Hello everyone so have you heard about getting paid to play video games. I know it sounds too good to be true; i thought the same thing at first too. I thought why would video game companies pay me to play their video games. I emailed a lot of different people asking them this question. Most people would not even reply, and i could never figure out why. Then i realized it most people only say they test video games, when they actually do not.
This is what gives video game testing a bad name. There are people everywhere that say oh yeah go test video games, when they do not even do it themselves. Then what happens is those people shout out scam all over the internet. Then other people read these posts and they say that it is a scam. So now everyone thinks that video game testing is a scam. Every single one of these people is wrong. You need to learn how to become a video game tester the right way, and you will not fail.
But back to the question of why. The few people that actually had an answer, actually all had the right answer. The answer is they are making tons and tons of video games. Video games are now a 50 billion dollar industry. They have all of these video games, but they make them so fast that they are making mistakes on these games. These mistakes are called bugs, and they do not have the time or money to fix them. They can either pay their employees overtime and lose tons and tons of money to look for these bugs, or they are can just pay you 10 to 15 dollars an hour to do it for them.
